About Us
Little Bit Gardens is a small-scale garden design studio based out of Richmond, Virginia. We transform underused spaces into landscapes that lend beauty + value to people, and their interconnected ecosystems.
Here are a few things we do differently from traditional landscaping practices:
We’re focused on designing and shepherding installation in both private and community-owned spaces ~<2000sq ft. We’re currently available for projects throughout the Piedmont + Valley regions of Virginia.
Little Bit Gardens is run by Sara Mason. She completed a post-graduate Horticulture certificate at UCLA in 2024, and became a certified Chesapeake Bay Landscaping Professional (CBLP) in 2025.
